Who coordinates the directory?
The Directory is coordinated by the Manufacturers Council of the Chamber of Commerce NT. Should you have any questions about the Directory, contact us on (08) 8982 8142 or email ssmd@chambernt.com.au.

How do I register a company listing?
To register a new company listing simply visit www.chambernt.com.au, go to the 'Membership Services' page, then 'NT Services Suppliers and Manufacturers Directory' and click 'Join'. You will need to register a username and password and can build your company listing online from there.

Renewing an existing company listing
Listing renewals for all users are required in July each year and the primary contact for the listing will be emailed instructions to renew before the listing expires.

I’d like to buy a directory, how much do they cost?
The Directory is distributed free of charge. If you would like a copy of the Directory, come into the Chamber of Commerce NT office at 5/4 Shepherd St, Darwin City and pick one up. If you are unable to come to our office, contact us on 08 8982 8142 or ssmd@chambernt.com and we will send one out to you.

What is the difference between an advertisement and a company profile?
Company profiles contain all relevant company information, such as contacts, core business and principal products and services. An advertisement can be included with your company profile to further promote your business and is usually a graphic designed image designed to highlight your company profile.

Is my business eligible?

I want to be listed in more than 3 categories, how can I do this and how much does it cost?
Businesses are limited to three categories online to ensure they are only put into those that specifically apply to what they do, in order to minimise clutter and confusion. The first category is included in the cost of your company profile charged at $240. Two categories incurs a cost of $265 and three categories incurs a cost of $290. All costs are GST inclusive. Additional categories (up to 2) can be requested, and will only appear in the printed directory at $15 per additional category.

Can I advertise in the SSMD?
Businesses can opt for display advertising in the directory. For more information, go to the Advertising section of the Website. Display advertising will only be displayed in the printed SSMD. All advertisements must be provided to the Chamber of Commerce NT in time for the printed edition of the directory. The advertisements must be to the required specifications. Advertisements are not to contain any distasteful materials or slogans. All advertisements must be artwork ready for print submission. Please be aware that either advertising print will incur additional fees to the general directory listings.

What is the cost of including my company in the SSMD?

When can I proof my application for company listing?
It is the company's (your) responsibility to ensure you listing is completely free of errors and all of the information is accurate and correct. There is a limit of number of words per section when building your listing online. If you go over the maximum amount of words, it will show in the online directory listing but will need to be cut down to fit a half page within the printed directory. To view your company listing for proofs before it goes to print, please visit the online directory at www.chambernt.com.au/ssm-directory.

What are my logo requirements?
Logos must meet the following requirements:
300dpi
CMYK
Available in a .jpeg or .eps format

Logos not meeting these specifications will not be used due to the quality of print reproduction.

When will the SSMD be available and how do I get one?
All companies in the SSMD and all registered businesses in major NT business suburbs will receive a copy of the directory via post. More copies are available via request from the Chamber of Commerce NT, 5 / 4 Shepherd Street, Darwin City. Listings are visible on the online directory and SSMD app once payment is received.
